AeroTech has released a new SyncBoxSuite update focused on tablet status monitoring, charging visibility and direct device data synchronization. This release removes the operational dependency on MDM profiles or shortcut-based workflows for collecting key tablet information during daily device handling.
With the new update, SyncBoxSuite can read required tablet status data when the charging cable is connected, while allowing the device to continue charging at the same time.
Charging and data sync at the same time
The new capability enables SyncBoxSuite to support simultaneous charging and data synchronization through the connected cable. This means tablet status information can be collected without interrupting the charging process, helping operators maintain both device readiness and operational traceability.
Reduced dependency on external workflows
Previously, tablet status tracking and charging-state reporting could require MDM-based configurations or shortcut-driven user actions. The new update simplifies this process by allowing SyncBoxSuite to collect the necessary data directly when the device is connected to the SyncBox unit.
- No mandatory MDM dependency: key tablet status information can be collected without requiring a dedicated MDM workflow.
- No shortcut requirement: users do not need to manually trigger shortcut-based reporting actions.
- Charging continues during data collection: the device can remain connected for charging while SyncBoxSuite reads operational data.
- Improved charging visibility: operators gain better insight into tablet readiness and charging behavior.
- Centralized SyncBoxSuite logging: collected device status information is recorded within the platform for reporting and follow-up.
Designed for operational efficiency
This update is designed for airline and enterprise tablet fleets where charging, device status monitoring and fast turnaround are critical. By combining charging and data synchronization in a single connected workflow, SyncBoxSuite helps reduce manual checks and improves visibility across managed devices.
The release further strengthens SyncBoxSuite as a centralized platform for device custody, charging management, status tracking and operational reporting.
