SyncBoxSuite Mobile App V1.0.0 Released for Android, iOS & Web

A new mobile and web experience for device return, operational reporting and audit-ready logging.

AeroTech has released SyncBoxSuite Mobile Application V1.0.0, extending the SyncBoxSuite platform across Android, iOS and Web. The first public version introduces a flexible device return workflow, operational reporting tools and improved traceability for airline tablet and EFB device operations.

The new mobile application allows users to return devices to SyncBox units even when RFID authentication is not available, while every action is still recorded in the SyncBoxSuite audit trail.

Device return without RFID dependency

With this release, SyncBoxSuite supports an alternative return process through the mobile application. Users can identify the relevant box, select the device or slot workflow, and complete the return operation directly from the app. Each transaction is logged with operational details to maintain accountability across the device lifecycle.

Operational reporting from mobile and web

SyncBoxSuite Mobile App V1.0.0 also introduces reporting capabilities for both SyncBox units and managed devices. Teams can create reports from the field, attach images where required, and provide structured feedback for technical, operational or audit follow-up.

  • Android, iOS and Web availability: access SyncBoxSuite workflows from mobile devices or a browser-based interface.
  • RFID-independent device return: complete return actions even in locations where RFID cards or readers are not available.
  • Full system logging: device return activities are recorded to support custody control and operational traceability.
  • Box and device reporting: create reports related to SyncBox units, slots or individual devices.
  • Photo attachments: add images to reports for clearer technical evidence and faster review.

Designed for flexible airline operations

The mobile application is designed to support real-world airline environments where users may need more than one method to return, report and document device status. By combining mobile access with the existing SyncBoxSuite platform, airlines gain an additional operational layer for device custody, readiness tracking and technical follow-up.

This release represents the first step in expanding SyncBoxSuite beyond the physical locker interface, bringing key device management and reporting actions directly to mobile users and web-based operational teams.
